About the Authors
Jennifer Croll is a writer and editor who lives in Vancouver, Canada, with her sylish and handsome tuxedo cat, Ollie. Her other books are Fashion that Chagned the World, Bad Girls of Fashion, and Bad Boys of Fashion; she's also contributed to glossy magazines such as Nylon, Dazed and Confused, and Adbusters. During daylight hours, she's an editor at Greystone Books, and by night, she drinks cocktails. She might have other hobbies, but they're not important. Jen fondly recalls the first tribute cocktail she ever drank; it was a Shirly Temple when she was 12 years old. But if you're buying, she'd prefer a mezcal Margarita, on the rocks.
Kelly Shami is an artist and jewelry designer who lives in New York City with her very long but lovable dachshund, Rooney. She has a distinctive illustration style which has led to previous collaborations and work with brands such as Adidas, Nike, MTV, CoverGirl, and more. She is also the designer of her own jewelry line, SHAMI. Every woman in this book inspires her, and validates her continuing taking on the world (even though that may mean missing many happy hours). This is her first illustrated book, which in her opinion calls for a drink. She prefers champagne with a splash of Chambord.
