Javelina (or "javi") are an animal native to the southwestern United States (and North and South America, and Trinidad in the Caribbean). They're adorable from a distance, but can be aggressive when approached. They might not be traditionally thought of as a holiday animal, but aren't they so cute on a Christmas card?
Fun fact - a pack of javelina is actually called a "squadron" - but that didn't sound quite as nice on a card.
